A lifetime of Fender love and over a decade of building experience were poured into the Jason Smith Builder Select Garage Mod Stratocaster, a true rock 'n' roll machine that reflects common mods from the '70s. Most obviously, a slanted Seymour Duncan® Custom Shop '78 humbucking pickup inhabits the bridge position for fat tone with snarl and bite to spare, while the five-way switch offers five custom tones for the sonic flexibility to match any song. A two-point Classic Player tremolo and Sperzel locking tuning machines create stable tuning, perfect for histrionic tremolo-arm effects. The quartersawn maple neck with mid-'60s Oval "C"-shaped profile bears a 9.5"-12" compound radius fingerboard designed for speed and comfort and the contoured neck heel lets you reach the upper registers in comfort. Includes a black hardshell case and Certificate of Authenticity.
