More about ARTISAN TELE® CABALLO TONO LIGERO - KOA
The latest addition to the highly acclaimed Custom Shop Artisan Series, the Custom Shop Limited Edition Artisan Tele Caballo Tono Ligero Koa is a tastefully elegant instrument with sophisticated style and deep rich tone.
A hand wound Custom Shop ’51 Nocaster pickup in the bridge position accurately reproduces the classic twang and shimmer of a Tele, while the TV Jones® Classic neck pickup offers authentic growl and grind. The reversed control plate makes it easier to quickly access the volume and tone controls and the RSD-designed bridge sports a lower side profile and redesigned brass saddles. With its 1963 “C”-shaped profile and modern 9.5”-radius rosewood fingerboard, the 21-fret one-piece AAA birdseye maple neck is perfect for all playing styles.
The lacquer-finished Thinline body is crafted from Tasmanian Blackwood, and capped with a bound AAA koa top, adding crispness and definition to the guitar’s voice. Other aesthetic appointments include chrome hardware, Sperzel® die-cast tuning machines with white pearloid buttons and one-ply gold anodized pickguard. The Limited Edition Artisan Tele Caballo Tono Ligero – Koa is the ideal instrument for players who appreciate classic Fender design matched with beautiful tone and elegant wood—a dream guitar from the Dream Factory.
Includes an engraved Limited Edition neck plate, Certificate of Authenticity and deluxe hardshell case.
